Final release donation
This package covers all costs relating to the safe re-location and releasing of hedgehogs back into the wild.
Here at the hospital, it is the ultimate "Job Well Done" statement that we allendeavour to achieve. However, this does incur transportation costs, wilderness surveys and release agreement fees.
Pre-release in care village donation
This package covers after care treatments, food, shelters, and monitoring.
Hedgehogs admitted into the village are fed and cared for in a unique environment that provides little contact with humans. This important stage gives the hedgehog the opportunity to ready itself for release back into the nature whilst still being monitored by hospital staff.
Hospital bed intensive care donation
This package covers intensive care treatments, medications, food, and monitoring.
All Hedgehogs admitted into the hospital will spend a minimum one week in intensive care so as to ascertain the progress of healing while the hedgehog grows strong enough to be moved to the general care village where it will remain until it is deemed well enough to be released back into the wild.
Accident and Emergency care donation
Lacerations from garden strimmers.
Burns from garden fires and bonfires
Bite wounds from pet dogs
Encircling, pressure or snare wounds around limbs or body
Abscesses and pustules common in the hedgehog, particularly between the spines.
